The Renault 5 E-Tech is Renault's first vehicle to be based entirely on the new Ampere platform for B-segment electric vehicles. The advantages are a flat floor, a long wheelbase (2.54 m), an optimized interior and trunk space (326 liters), a low center of gravity and a comparatively low weight (less than 1,500 kg).
