The 12Cilindri (Italian: dodi-chi chilin-dri) literally means "twelve cylinder". While some components were taken from the 812 Competizione, the combination of the parts used resulted in a completely new engine. The new engine is coupled to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission - a first for a V12 Ferrari.
